Have you been wondering what the difference is between the Excel functions =today() and =now()? The two functions display the current date but the only difference is that the =now() function also displays the current time. The two functions allow the date to be updated any time you reopen the your worksheet. If you do not want the date to be updated automatically, use the keyboard shortcut below in a cell where you want the date to be displayed. CTRL+; That is, use the CTRL and semicolon keys in a cell.

Making two or more Excel files to open side-by-side can be very cool and make work easier. You can accomplish this by carrying out a simple setting. Click on the big office button (Top left corner) Locate "Excel Options" button and click on it Select "Advanced" at the left. Scroll all the way down to locate "General Settings" Put a check mark in "Ignore other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange. Click the OK button and open as many excel files as you want. Sometimes you might need to use the images on a word document for other things. A good example is a document received containing the images to be used for a web page design. These images can be quickly extracted without much work even if you have up to 200 images on the doc. Two unique methods will be discussed here. I personally prefer the second. METHOD 1: Save the document as a web page(HTML) Look for the folder containing the media files. Copy the files for your use. METHOD 2: Download and install WinRar. It is free. Launch the application when done. Drag and drop the Word document containing the images into the WinRar Window Look for the folder named Word. In this folder you will find another folder named Media. Open this and enjoy.

The application aTube catcher is a free program for downloading videos from youtube and other video hosting sites. But after installing this app I was given the additional application called MP3 Downloader which I now use to download thousands of MP3 files without much effort. Follow the steps: Google search "aTube Catcher Install it when done Check your desktop for the icon MP3 Downloader Launch it and you should see the screen below Type a song title or artiste in the Hot Search bar and press enter key. You instantly see a list of the files. Some with lyrics and some without. Select one and click on Download button. Enjoy
