I could not gain access to one of the computers on my network today. I have tried several options so that I could gain access but to no avail. The last thing I did was to tinker with the firewall. See below for the steps: 1. Open Control Panel 2. Go to System Security 3. Click Windows Firewall 4. Click Turn Windows Firewall on or off 5. Select Turn off Windows Firewall 6. Click OK.
